What COVID-19 Continues to Teach Us about Hospital Culture

In her recent blog for the LLN, Dawn French, senior vice president of marketing and community outreach at White Plains Hospital in New York, reflects on the importance of a strong culture of teamwork, support and encouragement to achieving the best outcomes. In reflecting on the hospital team’s experiences during the pandemic, she said, “We now have installed a butterfly garden outside the hospital … that acts as a quiet place for our staff to sit and reflect on those lives they saved as well as those they could not.”
