Behavioral Health Resources: Awareness & Prevention

 

 

The resources in this section help educate and inform hospitals and health systems on the importance and value of reducing stigma, as well as prevention and early intervention initiatives for individuals with behavioral health disorders.

The resources include examples of how hospitals and health systems can take steps to reduce stigma and normalize the treatment; create a culture of acceptance of the science behind and the importance of seeking mental health treatment, and the value of integrating physical and behavioral health in primary care.
